5-day health retreat at Church View Retreat in Trusley near Ashbourne, in picturesque Peak District National Park.


Tucked away down a private track, surrounded by open fields and woodland, it feels like a world of our own where you can truly enjoy the tranquility and leave the stresses of modern life behind. 


At our Peak District retreat, we will explore deeper on the concept of food, body and mind. We will look into how we build a healthy diet that suits us, how to form an exercise routine that challenges and pushes us but still enjoyable, and how we work on our mind so we stay productive and positive. 


We will start our days with morning mindfulness sessions, followed with healthy breakfast. We will then go out for a lovely stroll around in the fields. For physical activity, we will have group exercise inside and outside the house. Be prepared for fun filled games and competitions. There will also be trail hikes in the Peak District where you’ll be physically challenged whilst enjoying the wonderful view. Meals will be prepared by our chef and you might even try your own healthy recipe! After an active day we could wind down in the hot tub or just relax in the lounge.

The location consists of a main building with 5 bedrooms and a barn with 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms have split-able king beds which can be used as twin rooms. There is a fantastic 7 seater hot tub and an indoor sauna. Outside are extensive BBQ/dining area and grounds with a play area.

The vast grounds and gardens surrounding Stoke Rochford Hall are excellent for physical activities. The leisure centre is equipped with state of the art Pulse Fitness cardio and resistance machines, separate free weights area with a smith machine, Olympic rack, Preacher curl and free weights ranging from 1kg-30kg, heated covered pool open all year round, size 18m x 7m and sauna room. Private bar for the evenings exclusive to our members. 

The location benefits from a large garden and field with activity area for table tennis, and a football pitch! We will have the opportunity to create some hearty and healthy BBQ in the evenings then relax in the hot tubs. With benefit of being in the heart of peak district national park, we will be going on some of the most beautiful hikes.
